Can AI Figure Out Your Motivation?
I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about artificial intelligence. Everyone has something to say. I even wrote about it in a past issue here.
Right now, the loudest debate is whether AI can replace writing. Many say yes. But if you follow the argument to the end, you’ll notice something strange. AI doesn’t really know what it’s doing.
That, to me, is the biggest problem with it.
It’s also why I still can’t agree that AI will replace real writing.
Because writing is more than words. It’s the foundation of media, connection, and human communication.
Yes, you can use AI to write a beautiful message and send it out to friends, family, or fans. But will that message truly be understood? Will it inspire change or form a connection?
Now compare that to someone who just knows how to write. Not because they throw in short sentences or sprinkle emojis. Not because they’ve mastered gimmicks. But because they know how to speak to people. They understand what motivates humans. They know how to move people to feel, think, and act.
Sure, AI can churn out decent articles, emails, and social media captions. But what happens when a real person reads them?
That’s where human writers have the edge. And funny enough, the best writers will end up using AI to outshine those who depend on it completely.
The AI debate is going to continues for years. Probably forever. But the day AI figures out human motivation from the inside out, maybe then writers will truly be in trouble.
Until then, there’s one truth I’ll stick with:
Writing is thinking.
If you let machines think for you, your brain starts to rot. And when your brain rots, you can’t take effective action. You become passive, slow, and stuck.
That’s why I created my writing ebook.
Inside, you’ll find 17 foundational exercises that train your brain to move fast, think clearly, and get words down on paper. So even when you decide to use AI, you’ll be miles ahead. You’ll know how to tap into motivation. And you’ll use your words to create impact and momentum in your life.
