Do you think you need public education?
Yes or No!
Hello, my friend.
When I started writing these letters, I opened with one big idea. And that was: public and mainstream education does not prepare anyone for life.
To most people, this statement can sound like blasphemy
Or purely misleading.
But worry not, my letters are not for ‘most people’.
So you're special if you're reading this.
Anyway, my friend, it is true. Indeed public education is simply indoctrination of the masses into obedience and conformity. These two character traits are common among losers or less successful people.
To this day, I have not met any wealthy person who claimed it was all because of papers. Most of the exceptionally rich fellows I've met were exceptionally skilled at something while running their own businesses.
Take for example. The great Naval Ravikant himself who studied science and economics at the university taught that money and happiness are in specific skills.
Not in the schools.
According to Naval, if you want to make money, learn a skill or build a product and sell it. It’s that simple.
You don't need 18 years of compulsory schooling to make yourself a few hundred dollars every month. No!
John Taylor who wrote a good book called dumbing us down had this to say about public education.
“Schools are intended to produce formulaic individuals whose behavior can be predicted and controlled….Well-schooled people are irrelevant…they can push paper and talk on telephones, or they can sit mindlessly in front of a computer terminal. But as humans, they are useless. Useless to others and useless to themselves. “
When I first joined the university to study economics, I saw myself sitting on the board of the IMF discussing world economics. Well, seems like I was terribly misinformed. Years have passed and I've found myself in internet marketing building and writing. It is because the university failed to teach me a lot of lessons on personal development topics like money, and health mindset. It has taken me years of anxiety, failures, and relentless searching to discover that anyone can make money and enjoy life without going through public education entirely. I wish the same for you if you want it.
To keep it short, I am going to leave you a video that can inform you more about the lie that is public education.
But please understand this; I am not totally against public education because it can help you discover your own interests as well and the community and social capital aspect of it is great.
You just don’t need those degrees and certificates plus a lot of times, if you have the papers it does not mean you will get work.
