Thank you!

I seriously appreciate you and the attention you give to these letters.

Last week, I was lucky to spend time in different fellowships with men.

And when I say fellowship, I don’t mean singing, playing piano, lifting hands in the air, and speaking in tongues. No. I mean sitting together and talking deep things and listening keenly to each other. Most of the men are my old friends from different eras and locations.

One day I was crossing the city into the Eastlands just so I could sit down with a guy and listen to him. On another, I was sitting down for an hour chat with a guy.

On another, I was talking on the phone with so much intention. Not just a random check-up.

And you know what?

Nothing has raised my spirit lately more than that. These are my boys and I feel so good seeing them move through life, winning or losing.

Look I understand there is a girl reading this and may not relate. But I bet any human can relate to the feeling of connectedness and intimate friendships that eventually turn into family.

In all the four sittings I had, I discovered one thing.

And that is; the human soul grows through connectedness. And the single best indicator of happiness in a person’s life is the kind of people they are connected to. We are beings that thrive in communities. And alone, I mean when you are standing alone, you are never going to thrive. It is just the way. This is a universal law.

Anyway, as I sat down to send this letter, I noticed that 1 subscriber left. And I can always tell the action that inspired her to leave. It was from last week’s letter which I wrote about people living in fear and choosing to conform rather than resisting. How can such a powerful message make someone leave? I mean what is disgusting about considering renegade ideas to life fulfillment?

Anyway.

A normal person would have felt bad. But I don’t. In fact, I love it. It leaves me with open-minded people who are ready to smash it just like you.

That is why I seriously appreciate you and the attention you give to these letters.

So today, I am asking, what have you got from these letters? Which one idea stood out to you?

I understand you may not have much time, but kindly give feedback because that alone goes a long way both for you and me.

Let’s go.

Yours honest.

Nick Osale.
