Do this if you love yourself.

Refuse to be broke my friend!

Happy Monday, fam!

This is going to be a precise pointer in the direction of self-improvement.

I hope that by now you have fully understood these two things.

One, self-development takes 3 levels.

  • Developing your body.

  • Developing your mind.

  • Developing your spirit.

Second, I hope that you’re also aware that the true mark of self-development is responsibility. When you become responsible for certain things in your own life, indeed you have made steps and improved yourself. Keep in mind that the journey never stops.

Therefore, all self-improvers need to become responsible people with the power to choose the outcomes of their lives. One such important outcome is how you get to earn an income.

Refuse to be broke, my friend!

It’s for this reason that you need to eventually start a business after making significant steps in your self-development journey.

How do you do that?

Let us say you have spent three years improving your body through exercise and food. That alone can put you in a place to start a business based on health and fitness. Think of things like a fitness ebook. A diet plan. A workout program.

Or let us say you have spent a year learning and acquiring skills like web design, etc. You get to a point where you can sell that skill by making websites for small businesses.

Better still, let us say you have done some inner work, and you can coach others to avoid bad habits and impulsive behavior. Go ahead and start a business around that. It’s a weird example, but I know you get the point.

Anyway. Without a doubt, self-promotion is something you are going to learn if you want to start a business this way. So that means you need 3 things.

  • A way to connect with your customers.

  • A way to make them interested in your offers.

  • A way to sell to them in exchange for money.

Once these three are built and set in place, focus on self-promotion without shame. Do it every day if you can. It’s just that simple. No complications. It can work for a fitness guy. A therapist. An artist. A writer. It is going to work!

On a personal note, I am going to start a business to help small businesses with marketing strategies and promotions. I will also be launching my fitness ebook this month of February, which is going to be my kind of side hustle that can make me money while I sleep if Naval Ravikant is to be believed.

And guess what? I don’t want to leave you behind, my friend.

If you believe in this life path, become intentional with your self-improvement journey by starting a business as soon as you have gotten past your early years of personal development.

P.S. If you like this one and find it valuable and would like to support my work, do so when you buy me a coffee here. God bless you in whatever you decide to do.
