Some high income skills to make us richer and happier.

I type this on a sunny Monday morning returning from a walk and enjoying a hearty breakfast without the pressure of commuting to work. This is going to be a short one!

So… I hope by now you are fully aware that the nature of work is evolving. Whether we like it or not, traditional employment is slowly losing to freelancing and gig-kinda work.

What does this mean to you, my dear reader and subscriber?

It means there has never been a better time to go online and pick just one skill.

You see, thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people have already proven that the culture of work is truly shifting. The internet now allows anyone around the world to learn skills, choose the work they want, and who they want to work with. Is this not wonderful? Would you not consider making a career shift?

What are some of those skills, anyway?

First of all, I want you to keep in mind that the skills I am going to tell you are not technical. They are simple to learn and apply. You can pick a particular skill, learn it, and be ready to apply it in the real world within 30 days! Another great thing is that the people looking for these skills do not require you to have a formal education. But having that formal education is obviously a plus. This means the ground is fair and it is upon you to dedicate hours of work and put your best game forward. As Nasir Jones once taught, you cannot get rich without dedication. Or in his own exact words… “dead presidents, that sh*t comes with dedication.”

Ok, the skills…

1. Copywriting.

2. Search engine optimization.

3. Social media management.

4. Social media marketing.

5. Influencer marketing.

6. Content creation.

7. Content writing

8. Virtual assistant-administrative work.

9. Creating and selling digital products.

10. Ghostwriting.

11. Design.

I won’t go into a detailed breakdown of each of these skills. Because again, I am not even the guy to talk about each one of those skills. But there is only one skill can I talk about. And the skill relates to writing and marketing. However, one thing I am sure about is that if you can learn and possess any of these skills, be sure that a thriving freelance career is waiting for you.

Anyway. The exact skill I choose to learn is copywriting. It also goes hand in hand with content writing. That is why I spend dollars every month learning and networking with the best in the world. For example, the digital copywriter course by AWAI has been so resourceful and full of help for me. It is now about 18 days since I started and I have seen a massive shift in my skill and biz. I am going to require more time to study and implement it and share my results with you.
