Even Jesus was depressed and fat!

Christ is not to be found in groupthink and dogma.

There is a part in the book of Mark where Jesus is talking to his people and suddenly his family members appear and send for him.

At that particular part, Jesus is deep in his ministry doing wonders after wonder, miracles after miracles.

All these, Son of a carpenter is doing while completely away from his family.

What happens when Jesus is called by his family?

He looks at them (mother sister and brothers) and then back to his people and says, “You who is doing the will of god is my family.”

I am not going into pastoral interpretations of that but. As you can see, Jesus also faced the challenge of having to do his own thing away from family. Something which can be directly associated with self-work as we always preach in these letters.

Well, guess what Nick’s letter reader and subscriber? That was not the only challenge that Jesus faced.

According to the bible, the time between Jesus’ ages 12 and 29 is not known.

Some say he traveled to Nepal in India for spiritual enlightenment. Some believe he was playing lowkey in Nazareth his home. Philosophers think he was in deep existential crisis.

But I dare say to you…

He was depressed and sick and fat! Despite that, he got over it all and returned at the ripe age of 30 years and started his ministry. As Swiss Psychiatrist and healer, Carl Jung taught, “No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots are in hell,”

That means by principle, Jesus indeed faced much during that time between ages 12-29. So much that he returned wiser and enlightened, and then shined all that light to the world. He is the light and hope of glory, don’t they say so?

Anyway. I seriously don’t care about his missing years or whether he was in Nepal or Nazareth!

What I care about is this; his teachings regarding self-awareness. Teachings which I believe are originating somehow from his years behind the show! His years in darkness and hell! You see what? the world's soul is burning from ignorance and nihilism. We are in desperate need of spiritual and higher opening. Everyone needs to do serious inner work. And Jesus’ teachings can help and work for those who are ready.

Precisely why I made for you 12 bible verses to help us heighten our self-awareness. These Bible verses are drawn from the teachings of Christian writer and mystic Neville Goddard in his groundbreaking non-bestseller book called; the power of Awareness.

I promise these verses will bring light to your life even if you are not a Christian. And no, I am not going to call and invite you to a church because frankly, I don’t attend mass gatherings in the name of going to church. I certainly believe Christ is not to be found in dogma and groupthink.

Get these verses and the word. All of which with faith may most likely train you in self-awareness and help you in your inner work.
